Bover

Bover is a lighting brand founded in Barcelona in 1996 by Joana Bover, who moved into lighting design after an early project for the 1992 Seville Expo, and named the company as a tribute to Mediterranean light. Every piece is still designed and manufactured in Barcelona, combining artisanal techniques such as hand woven synthetic fibre shades with more advanced production methods, and the brand expanded into the US market in 2012 through a subsidiary in Atlanta. At Moonlight Design you'll find Bover's outdoor ranges built around hand woven shades, including Nans and the sea urchin shaped Garota in pendant, wall, ceiling, floor and portable table lamp versions, alongside indoor pieces such as the acoustic dampening Noren linear pendants, the sculptural Amphora floor lamps, and the Mediterrania, Roda, Siam, Tanit and Dome pendant families. Many outdoor pieces are built to run safely outside in all weathers, so the same woven silhouette can move from a covered terrace to a living room.
