The Tria Set 3 groups three of Bover's sculptural wall panels into a single fitting, joined through one internal metal structure and powered from a single wall connection point. Each panel sits at a subtle angle rather than lying flat, so light escapes unevenly across its surface and throws soft, shifting shadow lines rather than one even wash. Seen together, the three panels behave more like a piece of wall art that happens to glow than a conventional wall light.

Three Finishes: Natural Oak, White Satin Lacquer, or Both

Natural Oak keeps every panel in the same warm timber finish, letting the wood grain carry the texture on the wall. White Satin Lacquer replaces the wood with a clean, pale lacquered surface that suits a brighter, more contemporary room. White Satin & Natural Oak combines the two within the same set, alternating pale lacquer and timber panels so the light and shadow play across two different textures rather than one.

How It Works

Each panel is lit from its own LED terminal built into the internal structure, with the full set of three rated at 39W and 4320 lumens combined, at a warm 2700K colour temperature and a CRI of 90. The panels can be wall mounted individually or joined into a single modular installation from that one wall connection point, and the whole system works with a Triac dimmer. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its modular format suits long stretches of wall such as corridors, reception areas and open plan living or dining rooms, where a single sculptural light needs to cover more ground than a standard fitting. It works just as well as one wall mural style feature above a sideboard or sofa as it does repeated along a hallway.

Bover was founded in Barcelona in 1996 by Joana Bover, after a sketch she drew for an architect friend's project grew into a lighting brand. It's still designed and produced in Spain, from a base in Cardedeu near Barcelona. Outdoors, Bover is known for pieces hand woven from synthetic fibre, and indoors for intricate wood lattice fixtures such as the Dome family, built from over 170 individually woven beech strips. A Mediterranean design sensibility runs through both. The brand opened a US subsidiary in Atlanta in 2012.
