A Pendant That Hangs From a Tree Instead of a Ceiling
The Garota Hang is built for spaces where a hardwired pendant is not going to work. Instead of a ceiling rose, it comes with a rubber hang accessory with an inner wire, so you can tie it to a tree branch, an arbour beam or a pergola and move it wherever the evening's plans need light.
Graphite Brown or Natural White
The Garota Hang is woven in one of two finishes. Graphite Brown leans into the material's natural, sun weathered look, sitting easily among planting and timber. Natural White, listed as Ivory White, gives a lighter, cleaner shell that shows up well against dark foliage or evening stone. Both use the same UV resistant synthetic fibre weave over an aluminium and stainless steel frame, so the choice comes down to which tone suits your garden.
How It Works
Light comes from an integrated LED plate, 8.4W and 1122 lumens at 2700K warm white, sealed behind an elliptical polyethylene diffuser that keeps it airtight outdoors. The pendant is supplied with 4 metres of neoprene cable and a plug, giving enough length to run from a socket to wherever it ends up hanging. The whole fixture is rated IP66 and built from UV resistant materials, so it can be left outside through full sun and rain rather than brought in after each use.
Where It Works Best
Its hang anywhere design suits terraces, gardens and covered outdoor dining areas, tied to a tree, strung from a pergola beam or hung over an outdoor table for evening entertaining. It works well as a single statement piece or grouped at different heights.

Bover began in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover sketched a lighting idea for an architect friend's project and grew it into a brand. It is still designed and produced in Spain, based in Cardedeu near Barcelona, with a Mediterranean sensibility that spans hand woven outdoor pieces like the Garota Hang through to intricate wood lattice indoor fixtures such as the Dome family. Bover opened a US subsidiary in Atlanta in 2012.
