Two Woven Domes for a Wider Glow
The Dome 60/02 takes the collection's smaller lattice shade and doubles it, mounting two woven domes on a single fitting rather than one. That gives it a longer reach of light, useful over a kitchen island or a dining table where a single pendant would only light half the surface.
Two Shades, Same Hand Woven Build
Each of the two domes is built the same way as the rest of the family, dozens of wood fragments woven and stitched into a lattice that lets light escape through the gaps rather than glare from one point. Running two side by side creates a more layered look than a single shade, with overlapping patterns of light and shadow rather than one uniform pool.
How It Works
Each shade holds its own integrated LED (25W, 2664 lumens, 2700K warm white, 90 CRI), so light diffuses through the woven lattice instead of shining out directly. It works with a Triac dimmer, and the drop is adjustable from 900mm to 3000mm on a 140mm ceiling plate, so both shades can be set to suit the room. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Its twin shades and broader spread of light suit kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables, as well as hallways and staircases where a single pendant would leave gaps. It works well anywhere you want a warm, patterned glow rather than a single hard source of light.
Made By Bover
Bover began in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover sketched a lamp for an architect friend's project and turned it into a company. The brand still designs and makes its lighting from a base in Cardedeu, near Barcelona, and its range runs from sleek, simple pieces to intricately woven designs like the Dome family, built from individual beech strips fitted together by hand rather than moulded or cast. Bover opened a subsidiary in Atlanta in 2012, extending its reach while keeping production in Spain.

Questions People Ask
Can I change the bulb in the Dome 60/02?
No, each shade has its own integrated LED rather than a replaceable bulb, so the light source is fitted for the life of the pendant.
How far can the two shades be dropped?
The drop is adjustable between 900mm and 3000mm from a single ceiling plate, so both shades can be set for a standard ceiling or a taller space.
Is the Dome 60/02 suitable above a kitchen island?
Yes, its twin shades give a longer spread of light than a single Dome pendant, which suits kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables.
