Walk Over Lights

A walk over light is built to be stepped on safely, set flush into paving, decking or a driveway where regular foot or vehicle traffic passes directly over it. This collection is built entirely around Collingwood's GL016 and GL018 ranges, the GL016 available in standard and frosted lens versions with a colour changing RGBW option, and the smaller GL018 marker light suited to a more discreet application. Always confirm a fitting is specifically rated for walk over use before installing it anywhere with regular traffic.

The GL016 and GL018 ranges

The GL016 comes in standard and frosted lens versions, in stainless steel or black, with a colour changing RGBW option for anyone after more than a fixed white light. The smaller GL018 marker light, in antique brass, suits a more discreet application such as marking the edge of a step or a change in level.

Good to know

Always confirm a fitting is specifically rated for walk over or drive over use before installing it anywhere that will take regular foot or vehicle traffic, since not every ground light is built to the same load rating.
Low voltage walk over lights need a suitable transformer, available in our outdoor lighting accessories collection.
All outdoor electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
