A Ground Light That Disappears Until It's Needed

This mini LED ground light sits flush in paving, decking or gravel and stays out of sight by day. At night it sends three narrow slivers of light sideways across the surface, grazing steps, path edges or planting without shining upwards into anyone's eyes.

This version is made from brass finished in an antique tone that starts warm and coppery and mellows further as it weathers outdoors. The domed housing has three angled facets, so light spreads in three directions from one fitting rather than a single beam.

How It Works

The GL100 runs on low voltage from a separate driver, not from mains power directly. Choose 1W on a 350mA driver for a gentler wash, or 2W on a 700mA driver for a touch more output. Both options come in 2700K or 3000K white, so you can match warmer or slightly cooler light to the rest of your garden scheme. Wiring runs in series, so one driver can feed several ground lights along a path, sized to the number of fittings you're connecting.

Questions People Ask

Does this come with a driver? No. It's a low voltage fitting, so you'll need a separate 350mA driver for the 1W setting or a 700mA driver for 2W, sized to however many ground lights you're running from it.

Can I drive or wheel a bin over it? It's IK07 impact rated and described as walk over rated for pedestrian traffic. Collingwood doesn't rate it for vehicle loads, so keep it clear of driveways where cars will actually park or turn.

Will the antique brass finish change over time? Yes. Left outdoors, antique brass naturally darkens and tones down further with age and weather, which is part of its appeal in older or more traditional gardens.

What's the difference between the 2700K and 3000K versions? Just the colour of the light. 2700K is a warmer, more amber tone, while 3000K is slightly whiter, so pick whichever matches the rest of your outdoor lighting.

Can several of these be wired together? Yes. The GL100 wires in series, so one correctly sized driver can run several ground lights along the same path or step run.
