A Ground Light That Marks the Way, Not Just the Spot
The GL100 sits flush into a path, drive or patio and throws its glow outward in four directions from a single dome, so instead of one bright pinprick you get a wider spread of light across the surface around it. It's built to be walked and driven over, and sealed against water right down to being submersible.
Antique Brass, 4 Facets
This version has an antique brass finish and four cut outs in the dome, the highest output configuration Collingwood offers for the GL100 in this finish. Brass ages outdoors. Over months it will dull and darken from its bright installed colour to a deeper, more weathered tone, something a lot of people specifically want for period driveways, courtyards and older gardens where a shiny new fitting would look out of place.
How It Works
- Runs at 1W on a 350mA driver, giving around 11 to 13 lumens, or 2W on a 700mA driver for around 18 to 22 lumens.
- Available in 2700K or 3000K white light depending on the variant chosen.
- A 75° beam angle spreads light out from each of the four facets rather than firing a single narrow beam upward.
- Wired in series, so several GL100 units can run from the same low voltage driver circuit.
- This is a low voltage fitting. A suitable driver is needed to run it and isn't included with the light itself.
Where It Works Best
Because it throws light in four directions rather than one, the GL100 with 4 facets suits driveways, wider paths and patios where you want the ground lit on more than one side, not just a single narrow line marking an edge. It's equally at home stepping down a garden path, ringing a patio, or marking a gate or entrance where people approach from more than one direction.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from Sywell in Northamptonshire, and has specialised in LED technology since 2002. The brand says it was among the first to bring fully sealed, waterproof for life LED products to the UK electrical wholesale market, which fits with how thoroughly sealed this fitting is against water and knocks. Collingwood has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.

Questions People Ask
Does this light need a separate driver?
Yes. It's a low voltage fitting rated Class III, so it runs from a suitable LED driver rather than being wired directly to the mains.
Can I drive over this ground light?
Yes. It's IK07 rated and specifically walk over and drive over rated.
Will the antique brass finish stay looking the same?
No. Left outdoors, brass finishes darken and dull with weather over time. This is expected and often preferred for period settings rather than a fault.
How many facets does the light come out of?
Four. This version has four cut outs in the dome, so light spreads out in four directions instead of one.
Is it actually submersible, or just splash proof?
It's IP68 rated and rated submersible to 9 metres, so it copes with standing water around paths and drives, not just rain.
Do I need extra parts to install more than one?
Yes. Waterproof JB2, JB4 or JB6 connectors are sold separately and used to join fittings that are wired in series.
