The GL016 Frosted sits flush with the ground and only shows itself once the sun goes down. By day it's a small stainless steel disc set into your path or patio. At night it lifts a soft, frosted glow along the ground, enough to mark an edge or a step without throwing hard light into anyone's eyes.

Stainless Steel, Built for the Ground

This version is finished in 316 grade stainless steel, the same grade used in marine fittings, so it copes well with rain, frost and salt air. The frosted lens diffuses the LED behind it into a gentle spread of light rather than a sharp point, which suits a ground level fitting where you want definition, not glare.

How It Works

• Runs at 1W, driven at 350mA
• Choose 2700K warm white, 3000K warm white, or 4000K cool white at checkout
• Colour rendering index of 80, good enough to show true colour in stone, decking and planting nearby
• Class III extra low voltage, so it needs a separate LED driver, sold apart from the light
• Wired in series using the supplied 1 metre flying lead, letting you link several ground lights back to one driver

• Does this ground light come with a driver? No. The GL016 is low voltage and needs a separate LED driver, sold apart from the light and sized to suit how many fittings you're running.
• Can I drive a car over it? No. It's rated IK09 for impact and designed to be walked over, but it isn't intended for vehicle traffic such as a driveway used by cars.
