Light That Lives Underfoot
The GL016RGBW is a small round ground light built to sit flush in a path, a patio or a run of decking and still look sharp when you switch it to full colour. It gives you clean white light for the everyday and a full colour palette for the evenings you want something different.
Stainless Steel, Marine Grade
This version is finished in 316 stainless steel, the grade used on boats and coastal architecture because it shrugs off salt air, rain and general weather without corroding. The brushed disc measures 60mm across and sits 48mm deep, so it recesses into a neat 50mm cut out without a deep excavation.
How It Works
Inside the fitting are four LED channels. Red runs at 1W, and green, blue and a separate 4000K white channel each run at 1.2W, for a maximum draw of 5W. Because the white LED is kept apart from the RGB channels, you get a proper white light for practical use, not a dimmed mix of colours pretending to be white.
It's low voltage and wired in series, so it needs a separate driver and a compatible RGBW controller to run it. Wiring in series keeps cable runs tidy, but it does mean you're planning the circuit as a set rather than wiring each light on its own.

Recess it into steps, path edges, decking or the border of a patio where you want a low, flush marker light rather than a visible light source. Its IP67 rating and 5mm toughened glass cover mean it copes with standing water and rain, and its IK09 impact rating means it can genuinely be walked over, useful anywhere feet, wheels or garden furniture pass over the top.
