Collingwood's GL200 is a compact domed ground light designed to sit flush in paving, decking or steps and wash light sideways across the surface rather than glare upward. The 3 facet version has three windows cut into the antique brass dome, giving a wider spread of light around the fitting, which makes it a good option for marking out driveways, patios or wider paths where you want coverage from more than one angle.
It runs at 5.7W, producing 30 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature, and connects straight to the mains supply so there's no separate driver to specify. Housed in 316 stainless steel under the brass finish, it carries an IP65 rating and IK10 impact resistance, meaning it's happy being walked or driven over, and it's backed by a 7 year guarantee.
Installation calls for a 70mm cut-out, plus a waterproof connector such as the JB5 or WC5-9, or a TUBE/68 installation tube, all sold separately. Fit it via a qualified electrician, as with any hardwired outdoor lighting.
