Antique Brass with a Single Point Source Lens

This version is finished in antique brass, a solid brass body that will age and darken naturally outdoors rather than staying showroom bright. It uses a single point source lens rather than multiple LEDs, giving a tighter, more defined beam than you get from a diffused ground light.

Where It Works Best

Because it's IP68 rated and carries a walk over rating, the GL040 isn't limited to flower beds. It can be set into a path, patio or driveway where people and vehicles will pass over it, and it's rated to be fully submerged, so it also works set beneath a shallow pond or water feature. Use the 12° version to graze up a wall or tree trunk, or the 40° version to wash a wider area of planting or paving.

Can the GL040 be installed under water?
Yes. It's IP68 rated, which means it can be fully submerged, so it can be set beneath a shallow pond or water feature as well as buried in the ground.

Do I need to buy a driver separately?
Yes. This is a low voltage, Class III light and needs a separate driver. It's wired in series with other fittings on the same circuit rather than each light having its own driver.

Can it be walked or driven over once installed?
