TOOY Lighting

TOOY is an Italian lighting house based in Amandola, in the Marche region, founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei as an offshoot of Gibas, the family firm that has produced tailor made lighting in the same region since 1959. Since 2017 the brand's collections have been shaped under the creative direction of Corrado Dotti, working alongside designers such as Studiopepe and Federica Biasi. At Moonlight Design you'll find TOOY's wall lights, table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling lights, from single flush fittings to multi arm chandeliers and cluster suspensions built from repeated modules. Pieces are conceived, engineered and crafted in Italy, combining brass, aluminium, glass and powder coated metal finishes with LED and fabric detailing. The brand states that customisation, in scale, finish and configuration, is part of its design process rather than an afterthought, giving each fixture a considered, architectural feel.
