TOOY Nastro Chandelier - Small

The Nastro small chandelier takes the collection's curved aluminium band and multiplies it — four bands arranged in a composed chandelier configuration that fills a ceiling with the Nastro's distinctive formal language at a scale and complexity that a single pendant cannot achieve. The four curved bands, each contributing its own quality of warm, directed light, create a composition of layered illumination and visual depth that suits dining rooms, sitting rooms and entrance halls where a chandelier is wanted but the clean, contemporary character of the Nastro is preferred over more traditional alternatives.

There is something genuinely refreshing about a chandelier that arrives at its form from a place of material intelligence rather than decorative tradition. The Nastro small chandelier does not reference crystal, candles or classical metal work. It references the curve of aluminium, the behaviour of light within a contained form, and the intelligence of a colour system that allows the fitting to speak directly to the palette and character of the room it inhabits. This is a chandelier for rooms designed in the present tense.

The four band composition creates a quality of ambient light that is both more generous and more layered than a single pendant — the four sources distributing their combined warmth across the ceiling plane and into the space below with an evenness and depth that makes a room feel properly considered.
