TOOY OSMAN Wall Light

A Two Light Glass Wall Light With a Wider Reach

The Tooy Osman Wall Light is designed by Corrado Dotti and pairs two double wall glass cylinders on one metal backplate. It is approximately 22cm wide, 13cm deep and 23cm high, so it gives more light than the Single version while staying compact.

Choose Your Finish

Matte Black is the base finish throughout, with Brushed Brass or Black Chrome adding the detail. Clear Glass keeps the twin cylinders crisp and bright, while Smoke Glass tints them for a more subdued glow. A brass and clear version suits a warm, traditional scheme, and a chrome and smoke version suits a modern, dark one. Screens can show glass tones differently, so ask us if you want help.

How it works

Two E14 lamp holders each take a bulb of up to 8W LED, and bulbs are not supplied. The largest bulb that fits is about 3cm across. It is dimmable if dimmable bulbs are used. It is hardwired, with its mounting bracket included. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Use it as a wall light for a hallway, over a console, beside a bed or either side of a mirror. It also suits a staircase or landing where one bulb would be too little. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was founded in 2015 in Italy's Marche region by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei, as a spin off from Gibas. Gibas is the Giacomozzi family lighting company, which has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Osman was designed by Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa, started his own studio in 2009 and has been creative director at Tooy since 2017. The brand's lamps are made in Italy.
