TOOY OSMAN 12 Light Chandelier

A Twelve Light Glass Cylinder Chandelier, Wider Than Most Dining Tables

The Tooy Osman 12 Light Chandelier is designed by Corrado Dotti and built from a squared metal frame holding twelve double wall glass cylinders. It is a statement chandelier with a real presence: it measures approximately 85cm across and 60cm high, before the hanging rods are added. Hang it over a large dining table, in a generous living room or in an entrance hall that has room around it.

Four Finish and Glass Combinations

Every version has a Matte Black frame. Brushed Brass adds warm metallic detailing, while Black Chrome gives a cooler, darker edge. You can then choose Clear Glass for crisp, bright cylinders or Smoke Glass for a softer, moodier glow. Matte Black with Brushed Brass and Clear Glass is the lightest and most traditional looking. Matte Black with Black Chrome and Smoke Glass is the most dramatic. Glass tones can look different on screen, so please ask us if you want help choosing.

How it works

Twelve E14 lamp holders each take a bulb of up to 8W LED. Bulbs are not supplied, and the largest bulb that fits is about 3cm across. The chandelier is dimmable if dimmable bulbs are used. It comes with a 60cm and a 90cm rod and a joint kit, so the hanging height can be set on site. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

The clean, orthogonal shape suits modern dining rooms, open plan living spaces and halls. With twelve lights it gives a layered, even glow rather than a single bright pool. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy began in 2015, founded by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region as a spin off from Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting there since 1959. Osman is the work of Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa before opening his own studio in 2009. He has been Tooy's creative director since 2017, and the brand's lamps are made in Italy.
