The Tooy Thula 26W Pendant Light is designed by Federica Biasi and is the longest and brightest of the Thula pendants. It is very big: it measures approximately 134cm long, 25cm deep and 11cm high, before the cable is added. It is a statement linear pendant for a long dining table, a large island or a wide open plan room, with a wood or leather accent to warm the line of light.

Twelve Finish Combinations

The frame is offered in Beige, Satin Nickel and Sand Black, with Canaletto Walnut, White Oak or Beige Leather as the natural element. Over this much length the material makes a real difference to the mood: Walnut feels deep and architectural, White Oak feels bright and Scandinavian in spirit, and Beige Leather is the softest, most understated choice.

How it works

A 26W LED is built in at 2700K, giving around 3400 lumens of warm white light, enough to light a long table properly. It is dimmable with a phase cut dimmer, the driver is on board and there are no bulbs to buy. It hangs from a 150cm black cable with a ceiling canopy included. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Choose it for a long dining table, a long kitchen island or the centre of a spacious living and dining area. It needs open space around it. We do not have an IP rating for this model, so we recommend it for dry indoor rooms and ask you to contact us if you are thinking of a damp space.

The story behind Tooy

Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei founded Tooy in 2015 in Italy's Marche region, as a spin off from Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti has been creative director since 2017. Tooy's lamps are made in Italy.
