TOOY OSMAN Small Table Lamp

A Compact Glass Lamp for Side Tables and Shelves

The Tooy Osman Side Table Lamp is designed by Corrado Dotti and is a small, one bulb table lamp, approximately 14cm wide and 32cm high. It brings the Osman look of a double wall glass cylinder on a metal base to bedside tables, consoles and shelves.

Four Combinations of Metal and Glass

Every lamp has Matte Black metalwork. Brushed Brass adds a warm, polished accent and Black Chrome a darker, cooler one. With Clear Glass the cylinder stays bright and open, and with Smoke Glass it glows with a more muted, amber tinge. A small lamp like this suits the smoke versions well on a dark wood side table. Colours vary on screen, so ask us if you want a second opinion.

How it works

One E14 lamp holder takes a bulb of up to 8W LED, and the bulb is not supplied. The largest bulb that fits is about 3cm across. The 150cm black fabric cable has an on/off switch about 50cm from the base. No dimming is listed for this version, so please ask us if you need a dimmable option. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

This is a bedside table lamp, a small side table light or a shelf lamp for a living room or hallway. It is quiet and neat enough to sit as a pair either side of a sofa or bed. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region, as a spin off from Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti, creative director since 2017, designed Osman after training with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa and opening his own studio in 2009. The brand's lamps are made in Italy.
