A Two Light Ribbon Pendant for the Dining Table
The Tooy Nastro Medium Pendant Light is designed by Studiopepe and carries the Nastro idea at a more generous scale: a flowing band of powder coated metal, balanced by a solid cylinder, with two built in LED light sources. It is approximately 66cm long and 23cm high, which makes it a natural dining table pendant light, or a soft statement over a kitchen island or the foot of a staircase.
Twenty Colour Pairings to Choose From
You choose two colours. The band comes in Beige, Terracotta, Greenish Grey or Sand Black, and the cylinder at its end can be Beige, Terracotta, Greenish Grey, Sand Black or Brushed Brass. Beige on Beige is quiet and tonal, good for pale rooms. Terracotta with Brushed Brass is warmer and richer, and picks up timber, leather and plaster finishes well.
How it works
Two 9W LED sources are built in, with a colour temperature of 2700K, a warm white. They are included, so there are no bulbs to buy. The pendant works with a phase cut dimmer. It hangs from a 125cm steel suspension cable and a ceiling fixing. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.
Where it works best
Hang it centrally over a dining table, ideally with the long side running parallel to the table. It also suits a living room, a wide hallway or a bedroom where you want a decorative ceiling light without a heavy shade. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.
The story behind Tooy
