TOOY OSMAN Table Lamp

A Four Light Glass Table Lamp With Presence

The Tooy Osman Table Lamp is designed by Corrado Dotti and is the larger table lamp in the family. Four double wall glass cylinders stand together on a squared metal base, making a lamp approximately 35cm wide and 55cm high. It gives a sideboard, console or large bedside table a proper sculptural centrepiece.

Mix the Metal, Choose Your Glass

The base and frame are Matte Black, finished with either Brushed Brass or Black Chrome details. Clear Glass shows off the four bulbs and keeps things bright, while Smoke Glass softens them into a warm, hazy light. Brass with clear glass is the classic pairing. Black chrome with smoke glass is the most understated. Screens show glass tones differently, so ask us if you would like help.

How it works

Four E14 lamp holders each take a bulb of up to 8W LED, and bulbs are not supplied. The largest bulb that fits is about 3cm across. The 150cm black fabric cable has an on/off switch about 50cm from the base. No dimming is listed for this version, so please ask us if you need a dimmable option. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Put it on a sideboard, a long console, a wide bedside chest or a living room shelf. Four lights give more than a mood glow, so it can serve as a main lamp in a small room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region. It began as a spin off from Gibas, the Giacomozzi family company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Osman was designed by Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and Armani Casa before opening his own studio in 2009 and who has been creative director since 2017. The lamps are made in Italy.
