How It Works

Inside the recessed lens is a cluster of LEDs producing red, green and blue plus a dedicated warm white at 3000K, through a 40 degree beam with a colour rendering index of 80. Load varies with the colour being produced: 9W on red, 11.5W on green or on the 3000K white, and 12W on blue. The tilt mechanism is adjusted by a knob and swings the light distribution up to 25 degrees off vertical, so you can rake light up a wall or along a hedge instead of straight into the sky. This is a Class III low voltage fitting, which means it does not connect to the mains directly. It needs a driver, bought separately, with the fittings wired in series along the run. It arrives with 1 metre of cable already attached to speed up the connection in the ground. The cut out is 223mm, the fitting measures 250mm in diameter by 212mm deep, and it weighs 4kg.
