The JB5 is a gel filled, re-usable waterproof connector for wiring Collingwood's parallel connected outdoor products, such as spike lights and ground lights. It takes 1 input and splits to 1 to 3 outputs, with a single terminal block that opens and closes for easy wiring, and can be reused if you add or alter fittings later.
It's rated to 250V AC and 16A maximum, with a maximum conductor size of 1.5mm² and cable diameter of 6.5 to 12mm², suited to 0.75mm or 1mm round cable. The gel fill and closed housing give it an IP68 rating, submersible to 1.3 metres, so it holds up well buried or in a damp spot in a border.
It's a small, discreet fitting and comes with a 1 year warranty. WCR275 black 2 core rubber cable is a common pairing if you need to extend a cable run to reach it.
