The Driver Behind Every Colour Change Setup
The CCDRV75RF is what makes a run of RGB or RGBW LED strip or fittings, sold separately, actually shift colour to order. It has no light of its own. Instead it sits between your mains supply and your chosen fittings, converting the power and carrying the instructions that tell each colour channel what to do, with a built in RF receiver so it can be controlled wirelessly rather than over a wired connection.
The 75W Constant Current Version
This is Collingwood's constant current colour change driver, rated at 75W. It runs four channels, each handling between 350mA and 1500mA, so it suits a decent range of RGB and RGBW products rather than just one specific spec. Output voltage is set on site using dip switches on the casing, selectable between 8V and 43V, so you match it to whatever fitting or strip you're powering before you wire it in.
How It Works
Mains power comes into the driver and is converted down to a low, safe voltage across the four output channels, one each for the colours your RGB or RGBW product needs. Because it's built for colour change rather than fixed white light, it also carries the signal that tells each channel how bright to run, which is what lets a fitting or strip smoothly cross fade between colours. The built in RF receiver picks up wireless commands from a compatible remote or wall control, and the dip switches let you set the correct output voltage for your fittings before power goes anywhere near them.
Where It Works Best
This is a driver for the space behind the scenes, a loft void, a cupboard, above a suspended ceiling or wherever it can sit close to the fittings it feeds. Being IP20 rated, it needs a dry indoor spot rather than anywhere damp or outdoors, even if the RGB fittings it's powering are going outside. It's built to run a single RF zone. On a bigger job with several RF zones that all need to change colour together, Collingwood's PR3011 power repeater is the piece that keeps them synchronised, rather than adding another driver for that job.
Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from Sywell in Northamptonshire, and has specialised in LED technology since 2002. Drivers and control gear like this one sit behind Collingwood's wider claim to have been among the first to bring fire rated, fully sealed and mains dimmable LED products to the UK electrical wholesale market. The company has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.

Questions People Ask
What's the difference between this and a constant voltage colour change driver?
This is a constant current driver, delivering a fixed current across four channels rather than a fixed voltage, so it's matched to RGB and RGBW products designed for current based control rather than standard fixed voltage strip.
Do I need a separate receiver to control it wirelessly?
No. The RF receiver is built into the driver itself, so you only need a compatible RF handset or wall control to send it commands.
Can I use one driver to control several rooms or zones together?
Each CCDRV75RF covers a single RF zone on its own. If you want several zones to change colour in sync, Collingwood's PR3011 power repeater is the accessory that links them, rather than fitting more drivers.
Can this be installed outdoors?
No. It's rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it needs to sit somewhere like a loft space or cupboard even if the fittings it's powering are outside.
How do I set the right output voltage?
Dip switches on the casing let you select an output between 8V and 43V, so you can match the driver to whatever RGB or RGBW fitting or strip you're wiring it to before power is connected.
