Precise Colour Control For RGB And RGBW Lighting
The CCDRV75DMX takes a DMX512 control signal and turns it into clean, constant current power for colour changing LED strip and fittings. If you're building a lighting scheme where colour, brightness and sequencing all need to be programmed and synced, this is the driver that sits between your DMX controller and the coloured LEDs doing the work.
A Compact Unit Built For The Job
It comes housed in a white plastic enclosure measuring 244mm by 64mm by 32mm, with fixing holes at one end for mounting inside an enclosure or void. A built in digital display and dip switches on the unit let you set the output voltage on install, and a terminal block on one end handles the wiring in and out. It's rated Class II, so no separate earth connection is needed.
How It Works
Once wired in, the driver reads a DMX512 signal and uses it to control four separate output channels, each running at a constant current between 350mA and 1500mA. Output voltage is selectable via the dip switches between 8V and 43V, so it can be matched to the RGB or RGBW fittings connected to it. With four independent channels rather than one, it can drive proper RGBW colour mixing setups, not just a single colour change channel. The fittings or strip themselves are sold separately.
Where It's Used
This is a driver for behind the scenes installation, not a fitting that's ever seen once the job is done. Expect to find it inside a ceiling void, a plant room, a cabinet or behind a bar counter, feeding a run of RGB or RGBW LED strip or fittings out front. It suits colour changing schemes in hospitality venues, retail displays, architectural coves and feature lighting where a DMX system is already controlling the show. Because it's rated IP20, it needs to go somewhere dry and indoors, with the DMX cabling and load wiring run out to wherever the coloured light actually needs to appear.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting has been developing LED technology since 2002, designing and manufacturing its products from Sywell in Northamptonshire. Driver electronics like the CCDRV75DMX sit behind every colour changing scheme the brand builds, converting control signals into the steady current that keeps RGB and RGBW installations running reliably. Collingwood has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.

Questions People Ask
Does this driver include the RGB or RGBW LED strip or fittings?
No. The CCDRV75DMX is the driver only. RGB and RGBW LED fittings or strip are sold separately and wired to its output terminals.
Do I need a separate DMX controller to use this?
Yes. The driver reads a DMX512 signal from a DMX controller or lighting desk elsewhere in the system, it doesn't generate colour sequences on its own.
Can this be installed outdoors?
No. It's rated IP20, which means it's designed for indoor use only, in a dry location such as a ceiling void, cabinet or plant room.
What's the difference between this and a single channel colour change driver?
This driver has four independent constant current channels, so it can run full RGBW colour mixing rather than just switching a single colour channel on and off.
