The Hooked 1.0 Nude Pendant skips the shade entirely, leaving the bulb hanging from a solid metal hook with nothing around it. It's the plainest version of the Hooked pendant, built around the same cross knurl lamp holder and adjustable cable as the shaded versions, just with nothing covering the light source.

Choose Your Finish

Since there's no shade, the finish choice comes down to the metal itself: Steel, Brass or Smoked Bronze for the lamp holder and hook. If you decide later you'd rather have a shade, the Small or Large Hooked 1.0 pendants use the same fitting with a stone or graphite shade added.

How It Works

A solid metal lamp holder hangs from a solid metal hook off an 80mm ceiling plate, with the cable running 2000mm or 2600mm depending on finish, adjustable by tucking slack into the plate or having it professionally cut shorter. It takes one E27 bulb, max 40W, not included.

Where It Works Best

With the bulb fully exposed, this suits spots where the bulb itself is meant to be seen, over a kitchen island with a run of decorative filament bulbs, or as a single accent pendant, rather than a room where you need the light diffused. For a softer glow, the Small or Large Hooked 1.0 pendants add a stone or graphite shade over the same fitting.

Made By Buster + Punch

It's easy to describe Buster + Punch as an architect's lighting brand, since founder Massimo Buster Minale worked at firms including Foster and Partners and Richard Rogers. It's more accurate to call it a mechanic's brand that happens to make lighting, given how much time Minale spent customising motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage before founding the company in 2013.
