This is the highest output version of the Gold Buster Bulb, built around the same warm, amber toned resin light pipe as the rest of the Gold finish but stepped up to a brighter 5W for spaces that need a little more light. It still throws a focused pool downward while filling the room around it with a soft golden glow.

This is the Gold finish, sitting between Crystal's brightness and Smoked's deeper, moodier tone. Within Gold, this particular bulb is the higher output 5W dimmable version, rather than the standard 2W dimmable or non-dimmable options also available in the range.

How It Works

This dimmable 5W LED bulb needs an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as the Buster + Punch Premium dimmer, though it also works on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 200 lumens with a CRI of 80, at a warm 2500K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours. The polycarbonate body handles daily use better than glass would.

Where It Works Best

It fits any standard E27 screw fitting and suits the same Heavy Metal and Hooked ranges as the rest of the Buster Bulb family, particularly where a slightly brighter Gold tone is wanted. If your circuit only has a plain on and off switch, the bulb will still work, it will just run at full brightness with no dimming effect. Keep this dimmable version away from anything without an LED compatible dimmer, and never fit a non-dimmable bulb to a dimmer circuit.
