This is the dimmable version of the Buster Bulb Tube, the same elongated light pipe as the standard Buster Bulb but stretched into a longer, more architectural form. It gives you the option to dial the light down as well as up, from a gentle background glow to a fuller, brighter setting.

Choose Your Finish

The Tube is made in Crystal only, so the decision here is really about the switch you have, not the tone of the light. If you want the choice of Gold or Smoked, those finishes are only offered on the standard teardrop shaped Buster Bulb, not the Tube.

How It Works

This dimmable 2W LED bulb needs an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as the Buster + Punch Premium dimmer, though it also works fine on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 110 lumens with a CRI of 82, at a warm 2600K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours. The polycarbonate body is built to handle daily use better than glass.

Where It Works Best

It fits any standard E27 screw fitting and was designed to be shown off in open fixtures such as Heavy Metal or Hooked. If your circuit only has a plain on and off switch, that is fine, this bulb will simply run at full brightness with no dimming effect. What it should never be paired with is a non-dimmable LED on a dimmer circuit, which is a recipe for flickering and buzzing, so keep this dimmable Tube for dimmer circuits and choose the non-dimmable Tube for plain switches.
