This is the dimmable version of the Crystal Buster Bulb, the clearest and brightest tone in the range, built around the same resin light pipe that throws a soft ambient glow while casting a focused pool of light below. Being dimmable means you can take it from a full, bright setting down to something quieter without changing the bulb.

Choose Your Finish

This is the Crystal finish, the clearest and brightest of the three tones in the range. Gold leans warmer and dimmer for a moodier feel, while Smoked pulls the light down further still for a darker, more subdued glow.

How It Works

This dimmable 2W LED bulb needs an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as the Buster + Punch Premium dimmer, though it also works on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 100 lumens with a CRI of 82, at a warm 2600K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours. The polycarbonate body handles daily use better than glass would.

Where It Works Best

It fits any standard E27 screw fitting and looks especially good alongside the Heavy Metal and Hooked ranges. If your circuit only has a plain on and off switch, that is fine, the bulb will simply run at full brightness with no dimming effect. Never fit a non-dimmable bulb to a dimmer circuit though, as it can flicker, buzz, or fail early.

Is this bulb dimmable?
Yes, though it needs an LED compatible dimmer switch to actually dim. On a plain on and off switch it will simply run at full brightness.

What is the brightest finish in the range?
Crystal gives the highest light output of the three finishes, ahead of Gold and Smoked.

Can I use this bulb with a DALI system?
No, this bulb is not suitable for DALI dimming systems.
