The Gold Buster Bulb takes the same resin light pipe design and finishes it in a warm, amber toned shell, sitting between the brightness of Crystal and the deeper shade of Smoked. It throws a focused spot of light downward while filling the space around it with a soft, golden ambience.

This is the Gold finish, the middle tone of the three options. Crystal is clearer and brighter, Smoked pulls the light down further for a darker, more subdued feel, and Gold sits comfortably between the two.

How It Works

This is the non-dimmable 2W LED version, built for standard on and off switches rather than a dimmer circuit. It runs on a 100 to 240V AC supply, gives out 95 lumens with a CRI of 80, at a warm 2500K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours of use. The body is a robust polycarbonate rather than glass, so it copes better with everyday knocks than a traditional bulb would.

Where It Works Best

Fit it into any standard E27 screw fitting, though it was designed to sit alongside the Heavy Metal and Hooked ranges in particular. If your fitting is wired to a dimmer switch, choose the Dimmable Gold Buster Bulb instead. This non-dimmable version paired with a dimmer will simply run at full brightness with no dimming effect.

Why does Gold look different to Crystal?
The tinted resin light pipe changes the colour and warmth of the light, giving Gold a softer, more amber glow than the clearer Crystal finish.

What happens if I use this on a dimmer switch?
It is not designed for that. A non-dimmable bulb on a dimmer circuit can flicker or buzz, so choose the Dimmable Gold Buster Bulb instead.
