This dimmable version of the Smoked Buster Bulb gives you control over just how dark and moody the glow gets, on top of the deeper tone the Smoked finish already brings to the resin light pipe at its centre. Turn it up for a fuller light, or down for something closer to candlelight.

Choose Your Finish

This is the Smoked finish, the darkest and most subdued of the three tones in the range. Crystal is the clearest and brightest, while Gold sits in the middle, warmer than Crystal but not as deep as Smoked.

How It Works

This dimmable 2W LED bulb needs an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as the Buster + Punch Premium dimmer, though it also works on a standard on and off switch. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 60 lumens with a CRI of 84, at a warm 2600K colour temperature, and is rated for around 35,000 hours. The polycarbonate body handles daily use better than glass would.

Where It Works Best

It fits any standard E27 screw fitting and looks especially good in the Heavy Metal and Hooked ranges. If your circuit only has a plain on and off switch, that is fine, the bulb will simply run at full brightness with no dimming effect. Never pair a non-dimmable LED with a dimmer circuit though, as it can cause flickering, buzzing, or early failure.

Is this bulb dimmable?
Yes, though it needs an LED compatible dimmer switch to actually dim. It will run fine on a plain on and off switch too, just without the dimming effect.

Is Smoked the darkest finish available?
Yes, of the three finishes, Smoked gives the lowest light output and the moodiest feel.

Can I use this with a DALI system?
No, this bulb is not suitable for DALI dimming systems.
