How It Works

This is the non-dimmable 2W LED version, built for standard on and off switches rather than a dimmer circuit. It runs on a 100 to 240V AC supply, gives out up to 110 lumens with a CRI of 84, and is rated for around 35,000 hours of use. The body is a robust polycarbonate rather than glass, so it stands up to daily handling better than a traditional bulb would.

Where It Works Best

Fit it into any standard E27 screw fitting, though its elongated shape was designed to be seen, so it suits open fixtures like Heavy Metal and Hooked where the bulb itself is part of the look. If your fitting is wired to a dimmer switch, choose the Dimmable Crystal Tube instead. This non-dimmable version paired with a dimmer will simply run at full brightness with no dimming effect, and may also flicker or buzz.
