The Bigger Shade, Off the Wall

The Hooked Wall Light in Large Stone takes the biggest shade in the range and mounts it sideways, projecting from a solid metal wall plate rather than dropping from the ceiling. It has the same exposed hook and cable as the pendant versions, just aimed out from the wall instead of straight down.

Choose Your Finish

Stone covers the large shade in a soft, chalky neutral powder coating. The wall plate arm, hook and lamp holder are available in Steel, Brass or Smoked Bronze, so you can choose how much the hardware contrasts with the pale shade.

How It Works

The wall plate projects 230mm off the wall, and the large shade hangs from a solid metal hook on a cable adjustable up to 450mm, secured at the plate with a coin cap and rubber grommet. It takes a single E27 bulb, max 40W, not included.

Where It Works Best

At 335mm tall and 210mm across, the Large shade gives a wider spread of light than the Small wall light, so it suits either side of a bed where you want proper reading light, or flanking a fireplace where a bigger silhouette reads well. Where wall space is tighter, the Small wall light uses the same arm and hook with a more compact shade.

Made By Buster + Punch

Before it made lighting, Buster + Punch was really just Massimo Buster Minale and a garage in Shoreditch full of half rebuilt motorbikes. He'd trained and worked as an architect, including time with Richard Rogers' studio, and in 2013 turned that same problem solving instinct toward homeware instead of buildings.

How much bigger is the Large shade than the Small one?
The Large shade is 335mm tall against 205mm for the Small, with a wider 210mm diameter against 140mm.

Is this rated for a bathroom?
No, it's IP20 rated for dry indoor spaces only.
