Pillar Lights (Up & Down)
Pillar lights combine uplighting and downlighting in a single fitting, typically wall or post mounted, to wash light both up a facade and down toward the ground at once. Most are available in warm white LED, with colour changing RGBW versions for accent lighting on entrances, columns and garden walls. Compact and low profile compared with a traditional exterior wall light, they suit narrow piers, gate posts and porch surrounds on both commercial and residential properties, and are commonly specified in matching pairs either side of a doorway or driveway entrance. For a fuller lighting scheme, combine pillar lights with our bollard lights and ground level fittings to carry the same up and down effect along a path or boundary wall.

What are Pillar Lights and What are They Used For?
Pillar lights are wall-mounted lighting units that produce both uplighting and downlighting at the same time, using a traditionally cylindrical or rectangular long casing design with a light at the top and bottom. This dual-direction design creates a dramatic lighting effect, ideal for enhancing the look of your home or venue exterior or for highlighting certain features of your wall or garden. Here at Moonlight Design we are proud to stock a wide range of outdoor pillar lights in all shapes and sizes to suit a variety of applications, from classic wall-mounted pillar lights to cube lights and pillar lanterns, so you can find the perfect match for your property and your needs.
