The GL021 is a small stainless steel disc designed to sit flush in a wall, riser or paved surface, throwing three angled slots of light downward instead of one bright dot. The result is a soft, directional wash that picks out the edge of a step or the line of a path, without glaring back at anyone walking past.

Finished in Stainless Steel 316

This version is built from marine grade 316 stainless steel, brushed to an understated satin finish that copes well even close to the coast. The Collingwood branding is engraved into the face, and light escapes only through three slim slots set at a 30 degree angle, keeping the beam controlled and the glare low.

How It Works

Inside sits a 1W LED rated at 80 CRI, wired for low voltage rather than run straight off the mains, so it needs a separate compatible driver. Because it's wired in series, several units can share one driver, which keeps cable runs simple when lighting a whole run of steps or a long path. The fitting needs a 50mm cutout and weighs about half a kilo, so it sits neatly into a routed riser, wall or slab.
