A Hook That Reaches Off the Wall

The Hooked Wall Light in Small Graphite takes the same suspended shade and hook mechanism as the ceiling pendants and turns it sideways, projecting off a compact wall plate instead of dropping from above. The small graphite shade hangs at the end of an adjustable cable, giving you a bit of room to set exactly how low it sits.

Choose Your Finish

Graphite gives the small shade a darker, more charcoal powder coating, a heavier contrast against pale walls than Stone offers. The wall plate arm, hook and lamp holder come in Steel, Brass or Smoked Bronze so you can match or contrast against the shade.

How It Works

A solid metal wall plate projects 230mm from the wall, and the shade hangs from a solid metal hook on a cable that adjusts up to 450mm, fixed in place with a coin cap and rubber grommet at the wall plate. It takes one E27 bulb, max 40W, not included.

Where It Works Best

The Small shade at 205mm tall and 140mm across suits a tighter wall run, either side of a mirror, flanking a bed, or in a narrow hallway where the Large wall light's bigger shade would crowd the space. If you want more presence from the same fixture, the Large wall light uses a bigger shade on the same arm and hook.

Massimo Buster Minale spent years as an architect at firms like Foster and Partners before starting Buster + Punch in 2013.
