The Hooked 1.0 Small in Graphite keeps the compact shade of the Small pendant but swaps in a darker, more charcoal powder coating. It's the same solid metal build, exposed hook and adjustable cable as the rest of the range, just dressed a shade moodier.

Graphite gives the small shade a deep charcoal powder coating, a heavier contrast option than Stone. The hook and lamp holder come in Steel, Brass or Smoked Bronze, so you can pick how much warmth or shine sits against the dark shade.

How It Works

Solid metal shade with matte rubber detailing at the cross knurl grip, hooked onto a solid metal hook from an 80mm ceiling plate. Cable runs 2000mm or 2600mm depending on finish, adjustable in the plate cavity or cut shorter by a professional. Takes one E27 bulb, max 40W, not included.

Where It Works Best

At 210mm tall and 140mm across, the Small shade suits a bedside pendant, a compact reading nook, or a narrow hallway where the Large version's shade would feel oversized. For a wider pool of light from a single shade, the 1.0 Large steps things up, or the 3.0 and 6.0 versions cluster several heads together.

Massimo Buster Minale's route to founding Buster + Punch in 2013 ran through two very different rooms: architecture offices, including Foster and Partners, and a motorbike garage in Shoreditch. The small, unshowy shade here still carries some of that garage discipline, nothing added that doesn't need to be there.
