The Light Symphony 4 Zone Key Fob, model LS30034FOB, gives you a compact handheld control for up to four areas of a Light Symphony lighting system. Its numbered buttons provide direct access to the groups configured in the installation.

It is useful when you want a physical remote ready by the back door or carried with your keys. There is no need to open an app simply to operate the lighting areas already assigned to the handset.

A Pocket Sized Remote With Covered Buttons

The black key fob has four numbered buttons and a sliding cover that protects the controls when it is put away. Its keyring attachment helps keep it with items you already carry.

The button arrangement is the main distinction from the 2 Zone Key Fob, which combines two zone controls with dedicated overall on and off buttons. Choose the layout that reflects how you want to operate the garden.

How the Four Zones Work

The key fob sends radio commands to compatible Light Symphony lighting controllers. Those controllers operate the circuits connected to them; the fob itself does not supply power to lighting.

A zone represents a configured lighting area rather than necessarily one individual fitting. The usefulness of four buttons therefore depends on how the installer groups the circuits across the system.

Light Symphony states a range of approximately 350 metres in clear line of sight. Walls and other obstacles affect the usable range, so try the control from the positions where it will normally be used.

Where It Works Best

Four direct zone controls suit a garden with several areas you regularly operate independently, such as a terrace, driveway and separate planting groups. Keeping a physical handset available can make the system approachable for other members of the household.

Match the Handset to the Installation

Check the required zones and the existing Light Symphony setup before ordering an additional control. The handset needs to be configured for the system rather than treated as a universal remote for unrelated garden lighting.

Does the four zone fob need a Smart Timer?
No. For basic operation it talks directly by radio to compatible Light Symphony controllers. The Smart Timer is for app control and scheduling.

Is this the same layout as the two zone fob?
No. This fob has four numbered zone buttons. The two zone fob has all on and off buttons plus buttons for zones 1 and 2.

Can it control four bulbs directly?
No. It controls programmed areas through Light Symphony controllers, rather than connecting directly to individual bulbs.

Will it work with any brand of wireless lighting?
No. It is a Light Symphony handset, so compatibility with unrelated wireless lighting systems should not be assumed.
