The Light Symphony 2 Zone Key Fob, model LS30032FOB, combines control of two lighting areas with dedicated all on and all off buttons. That layout suits a smaller garden scheme where you want both individual choices and a quick way to operate the system together.

The overall off button is particularly useful at the end of an evening. You can keep the two area buttons for the parts of the garden you use independently, then finish with one familiar control.

Designed to Stay With Your Keys

The compact black handset includes a sliding cover and keyring attachment. The cover protects the buttons when the fob is in a pocket or bag, while the clearly separated controls keep routine use straightforward.

This is a different button arrangement from the 4 Zone Key Fob. The four zone model prioritises four numbered areas; this two zone model reserves two buttons for overall on and off operation.

How It Works

The handset sends wireless commands to compatible Light Symphony lighting controllers. The controllers operate the electrical circuits, so the key fob does not need a wired connection to the lighting.

Zone behaviour depends on how the system is configured. A zone can be a planned group of fittings, allowing the same everyday control to manage an area rather than requiring a button for each light.

The manufacturer gives a range of around 350 metres with clear line of sight. Actual coverage is affected by buildings and other obstructions, so test the handset from the house and garden locations where you will use it.

Where It Works Best

This layout works well when the main choices are simple: the terrace alone, the planting alone, or the scheme together. It is also useful for someone who prefers a physical switch to phone operation.
