An Integrated LED Wash Light in a Finish That Holds Its Look
The Hunza Pure LED Wall Down Light has the same fixed head design as the standard Down Light, throwing an even wash of light rather than a directional beam, with the LED built into the fitting. This version is solid stainless steel and runs on low voltage.
The Stainless Steel Finish
316 grade stainless steel, the same marine specification Hunza uses across its solid metal range, chosen to hold a consistent brushed look rather than weathering the way copper does. Hunza notes it may develop a light surface tarnish in certain conditions, which washing resolves.
How It Works
Inside the fitting is an integrated LED chip rather than a lamp you change, and the LED board is field replaceable and serviceable. When ordering you choose 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 15°, 25°, 38° or 60°, and a clear or frosted lens. Output is 600 lumens from 6 watts with a CRI of 90+ at 3000K. The body measures 63.5mm across and 75mm long, on a 78mm diameter base 28mm deep, and 1m of cable comes with it. A remote driver is needed, wired in series, rather than a built in one. The fitting is IP66 rated and can be dimmed with a suitable dimmable driver.

The same long, flat surfaces suit this fitting: walls, gable ends, cladding, boundary fencing, particularly where you want a finish that won't change tone over the years and an integrated LED rather than a replaceable lamp.

Will the stainless steel finish tarnish or rust?
It's 316 marine grade steel, chosen to resist salt air and weathering and keep a consistent brushed look. It can develop a light surface tarnish in some conditions, which a wash removes.
Can the LED be replaced if it fails?
There's no separate lamp, but Hunza describes the LED board as plug and play, field replaceable and serviceable, so a fault can usually be repaired rather than needing a whole new fitting.
Does this version need a remote driver?
Yes, it runs in series with a remote driver, sold separately, instead of one built into the fitting.
What colour temperature and beam angle choices are there?
