Hunza Glare Guard - Stainless Steel

A Shield for the Glare You Do Not Want to See

The Hunza Glare Guard fits over the front of a fitting to protect the eye from direct glare and sparkle from the lamp. It also works as an adjustable shield, so you can turn unwanted light away from people nearby while the garden stays lit.

Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel

This version is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, with a diameter of 63.5mm and a length of 70mm. Hunza recommends 316 stainless steel for contemporary settings, and notes it may need regular cleaning to avoid surface staining near the sea. The same guard is also made in solid copper and powder coated aluminium.

How It Fits

• The guard screws onto the luminaire in place of the standard lens ring and does not affect the IP rating of the fitting.
• It is fully adjustable through 360 degrees.
• A second lens, such as Hunza's frosted lens, can be fitted to stop debris building up inside the guard.
• Hunza lists it as suitable for many of its fittings, including the NPS Spot, Wall Spot, Pole Spot, Pond Lite, Spike Spots and Down Lite. Check your model with us before ordering.
• Hunza's datasheet gives the stainless steel Glare Guard a weight of 0.3kg.
