A Spot Head for Trees and Planting

The Hunza Pure LED NPS Spot is the head of the luminaire only, made to be fitted to a Hunza Tree Mount Kit for a moonlight effect from above, or to a Hunza Super Spike pushed into sandy soil to uplight bushes. It has a threaded 1/2 inch NPS base, so it will also fit any 1/2 inch NPS threaded fitting. The head turns through 360 degrees and tilts from 0 to 90 degrees, so you can aim it exactly where you want the light to fall. This low voltage version has an integrated Cree LED board, and the parts are serviceable.

Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel

The body and end cap are solid marine grade 316 stainless steel, and the adjustable knuckle is full stainless steel construction. If you would rather have a finish that ages, the same spot is also made in solid copper and in powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

Fully adjustable head with 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation.
The head only is supplied. Choose the head on its own, or add a 300mm Super Spike or a Tree Mount Kit (rubber strap or screw fix) when you order. Both the Tree Mount Kit and the Super Spike come in black only. Hunza's rubber strap kit uses a mounting dome and a 1m adjustable strap that expands as the tree grows.
A Cree XHP-50-2 plug and play field replaceable LED board gives 600 lumens at 1050mA (6 watts), with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K and a rated life of 50,000 hours to L70.
Pick a colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), a beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and a clear or frosted lens. Beams are shaped by field replaceable PMMA TIR optics behind a 10mm extra clear, low iron, shatter resistant glass step lens.
Body diameter 63.5mm and body length 75mm, supplied with 1m of cable. The stainless steel head weighs 0.96kg.
It is a low voltage fitting wired in series, so a remote constant current LED driver has to be bought separately. Each fitting needs 6V DC at up to 1050mA. It can be dimmed when paired with a compatible dimmable driver.
Rated IP66 with a 10 year warranty on the stainless steel body, and 5 years on the LED and electronics.
