A Copper Spot for Trees, Shrubs and Walls
The Hunza Pure LED NPS Spot in copper is a small, adjustable light that you aim wherever the garden needs it. Only the head is supplied. Pair it with a Hunza Super Spike to uplight bushes in sandy soil, or fit a Tree Mount Kit, with a rubber strap or screw fix, for a soft moonlight effect from a trunk or branch. A Cree LED chip is built in, and the parts are serviceable.
Solid Copper That Weathers
This spot is made from solid copper, a natural finish designed to weather and patina outdoors. Bright and warm when new, it deepens to brown over time, and on copper can later turn a soft green. If you would like a finish that stays the same, Hunza also makes this spot in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.
The Details
- 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation on a fully adjustable head.
- 600 lumens from 6 watts, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Colour temperature of 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, beam angle of 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- Fixing options include none (head only), a 300mm Super Spike, or a Tree Mount Kit with rubber strap or screw fix. Kits and spikes are only available in black.
- 63.5mm diameter and 75mm body length, with 1m of cable.
- Low voltage and wired in series, so a remote driver is needed, sold separately. It dims when paired with a compatible dimmable driver.
- IP66 rating, with a 10 year warranty that includes 5 years on the LED.
Where It Earns Its Place
- Up into the canopy of an ornamental tree, where warm copper and 2700K light suit foliage
- Along a border, lighting a row of shrubs from a Super Spike
- Pointed at a textured wall, where the beam angle can be changed to suit
- Anywhere you want a lamp that can be re aimed without replacing it
How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them, working with NICEIC registered electricians. On our Design Service page you will find photographs of our own completed schemes and a walk through how we plan, draw up and install them. If you want a layout drawn up for your garden, start there.
Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- Solid copper darkens and patinas outdoors. That is normal and not a fault.
- The LED is built in and the parts are serviceable.
- Buy a remote LED driver separately, and have the circuit wired in series.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions People Ask
Will the copper keep its colour?
No. Solid copper is a natural finish that Hunza designs to patina outdoors, so it moves from bright copper to brown and eventually to green.
How can I fix it in the garden?
Add a Hunza Super Spike for soft soil or a Tree Mount Kit for a trunk, both chosen as options when ordering.
What are the Tree Mount Kit options?
Variants offer a rubber strap or a screw fix, and the kits are only available in black.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when it is used with a suitable dimmable driver.
