Calmer Light in Solid Copper

The Hunza Glare Guard softens the view of the lamp by protecting the eye from direct glare and sparkle. It can be adjusted as a shield too, which helps when light needs to be kept off a neighbouring path or away from people passing by.

Copper That Weathers Naturally

Made from copper, 63.5mm across and 70mm long, this guard is a natural finish that Hunza designs to age outdoors. It starts bright and warm, then moves through russet browns and greys to a blue green or grey green patina. That change is normal and not a fault. If you would like a finish that stays consistent, the guard is also made in stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

How It Fits

• The guard screws onto the luminaire in place of the standard lens ring and does not affect the IP rating of the fitting.
• It is fully adjustable through 360 degrees.
• A second lens, such as Hunza's frosted lens, can be fitted to stop debris building up inside the guard.
• Hunza lists it as suitable for many of its fittings, including the NPS Spot, Wall Spot, Pole Spot, Pond Lite, Spike Spots and Down Lite. Check your model with us before ordering.
• Hunza's datasheet gives the copper Glare Guard a weight of 0.32kg.

Will the copper Glare Guard change colour?
Yes. Copper is a natural finish that deepens from bright copper to brown, and eventually to a soft green, as it weathers outdoors.
