This petite cone wall light brings focused, directional light to a small footprint. The cone shade is capped in solid brass, so as the shade catches the light there is a small, warm glint of metal against the muted grey, a quiet contrast rather than a showy one.

How it works

The Cone Wall Light is a 240v hardwired fixture with an adjustable shade, so once it is wired in you can tilt the cone to direct the light exactly where it is needed and leave it in position. It takes a single E14 (SES) bulb, not included, with a maximum wattage of 28w. Houseof. recommends a 5w LED, which will give a warm, low energy glow well suited to a bedside or task light. The fixture is not dimmable, so brightness is set by the bulb you choose. Because it is a hardwired 240v fixture, it needs to be installed and connected by a qualified electrician rather than simply plugged in, and some basic assembly is required once it arrives.

Where it works best

Its compact size and directional beam make it a natural fit for bedside reading lights either side of a headboard, or as accent lighting along a hallway or landing.
