A Flexible Line of Light for Wherever You Need It

The LSV05 is Collingwood's 9.6W/m LED strip, an 8mm wide flexible tape that self adheres to most clean, flat surfaces. It's designed to disappear into the space it lights, run under a cabinet, inside a coving recess, along a shelf or into a routed profile, so all you see is the light itself rather than the fitting.

This listing covers 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, so you can match it to a warmer living space or a crisper, more functional area like a home office. Output rises slightly with colour temperature, from around 900 lumens per 5m at 2700K to about 1040 lumens at 4000K, with an 80 CRI. It's available in fixed lengths from 1m up to 5m, or as a 50m reel you can cut down to the run you actually need.

How It Works

Because it's low profile and cuttable, LSV05 suits jobs where a normal fitting would be too visible or too bulky. Think under kitchen wall units, inside a coving or bulkhead in a living room or hallway, along open shelving in a home office, or built into a stair string for a subtle glow on the treads. It's rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or anywhere it could get wet.

Collingwood has been developing LED technology since 2002, designing and manufacturing its strip and driver ranges from its base in Sywell, Northamptonshire. • Non returnable once the strip has been cut to length.
• IP20 rated, for dry indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms or other damp locations.
• Requires a separately sold 24V DC driver. Collingwood recommends using an approved driver with it.
• Class III strip, but it still needs a driver connected to the mains supply. Moonlight Design recommends having that connection done by a registered NICEIC electrician.
