Light With Real Output
The LSV02 is Collingwood's low voltage strip for jobs where the light itself needs to do some work, not just glow in the background. Running at 4.8W per metre, it puts out around 450 to 520 lumens per metre depending on colour temperature, at up to 108 lumens per watt. That's enough to use as a genuine source of light inside a profile, under a cabinet, or along a run of coving.
One Strip, Three Whites
This strip comes in white, on flexible 8mm wide tape, in a choice of 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white or 4000K cool white. It's sold by the metre for runs up to 5m, or as a full 50m reel if you're covering a longer stretch or wiring several rooms from one supply.
How It Works
The LSV02 is a constant voltage strip that runs on 24V DC, wired in parallel so brightness stays even along the full length. It needs a separate 24V DC driver, which isn't included, and Collingwood only recommends its own approved drivers for this strip. With the right driver fitted it's also dimmable. It carries a CRI of 80 and a 120 degree beam angle, and it's rated IP20, so it's built for dry indoor spaces rather than anywhere damp.
Where It Works Best
Because it's self adhesive and can be cut to length, the LSV02 suits jobs where light needs to follow a fixed run: coving, skirting, staircases, shelving, or inside an aluminium profile in a living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway, office or stairwell. It's the kind of strip an electrician reaches for when a client wants clean, continuous light rather than a row of visible fittings.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from Sywell in Northamptonshire, and has focused on LED technology since 2002. For a strip system like the LSV02, that shows in the detail: consistent output across every metre, and a driver compatibility list that Collingwood is strict about for good reason. The company has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of businesses assessed globally for sustainability.

Questions People Ask
Can I cut this strip to length myself?
Yes, the LSV02 is designed to be cut at marked points along its length. Once it's cut, though, it can no longer be returned.
Does it come with a driver?
No, the driver is sold separately. Collingwood advises using only its own approved drivers with this strip.
Can I join lengths together to cover a longer run?
Yes, the strip is wired in parallel so sections can be joined without a drop in brightness, up to the limits of your driver's output.
What's the difference between the three colour temperatures?
2700K gives a warm, amber toned white, 3000K is a softer neutral white, and 4000K is a brighter, cooler white, each with a slightly different lumen output per metre.
