Finished entirely in black, this H2 Deco downlight is built for architectural interiors where you want a discreet, low-profile fitting rather than a visible bezel. The all-black bezel and reflector combination gives Collingwood's best glare figure in the range, a measured UGR16, which is worth knowing if you're lighting a space where people spend a lot of time looking toward the ceiling, such as a living room or home office.
Like the rest of the H2 Deco range it's switchable between 6.5W and 10W, with CCT also switchable across 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K. Running at 6.5W gives you 500 to 650 lumens across that colour range, while 10W steps it up to 650 to 900 lumens. Use 2700K to bring out warm tones in wood or brick, or drop to 2200K for a softer, lower blue-light "ember" setting. There's an integral LED, no external driver to buy, it wires straight to the mains, and it's mains dimmable.
It carries an IP65 rating from below and IP20 from above, making it suitable for bathroom zone 1 as well as standard living areas, and needs a 72-75mm cut-out. The body is mild steel and polycarbonate, backed by a 5 year warranty, with an emergency converter available separately for commercial or escape route use.
