Light That Doesn't Get in the Way
The Domino CSP is a recessed panel built to do one job well: give a room even, glare free light without drawing attention to itself. It sits flush in a suspended ceiling grid and reads as a softly lit tile rather than a fixture with visible LEDs. That matters in rooms where people are looking at screens or whiteboards all day, because a UGR16 glare rating means the light stays comfortable on the eyes even at typical desk height.
The White Finish
This panel comes in a clean white housing that blends into a white ceiling grid, so from below it reads as part of the ceiling rather than a separate fitting. The lens is polycarbonate, sitting over a steel housing, and it spreads light evenly across the panel instead of showing individual LED points through the surface. At only 18mm deep, it fits within a standard 600 x 600mm ceiling grid without needing extra void space above the tile.
How It Works
16 LED cells are set into recessed squares across the face of the panel, each one angled to spread light out rather than straight down, which is part of what keeps the glare so low. It runs at a fixed 4000K colour temperature with a CRI of 80 and a 75° beam, wide enough to light a room evenly rather than in pools.
You can choose the panel with the driver left out, so you fit your own compatible dimmable driver and get a steady 27W and around 4350 lumens, or with a non dimmable driver built in, where the wattage is switchable on install between 22W, 24W, 25W and 27W, giving 3550 up to 4350 lumens. Either way, efficiency runs at around 160 lumens per watt. Wiring is Class II and set up for parallel runs, so several panels can sit on the same circuit. Where dimming is wanted, the driverless version works with DALI-2, 0-10V or push dim control.
Where It Works Best
This is a panel built for offices, meeting rooms, classrooms and retail spaces, anywhere a flat, glare free ceiling light matters more than a decorative one. It suits open plan desks and screen heavy rooms particularly well, since the low glare rating means it won't reflect distractingly off monitors. It also holds up in busier commercial spaces thanks to an IK08 impact rating, making it a sensible choice for corridors, stairwells or areas that see general wear.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from its site in Sywell, Northamptonshire, and has focused solely on LED technology since 2002. The brand says it was among the first to bring fire rated, fully sealed for life, and mains dimmable LED products into the UK electrical wholesale market, and it has since been awarded an EcoVadis Gold medal, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.
Good to Know

- IP40 rated, so it's intended for dry indoor spaces such as offices, classrooms and retail units, not bathrooms or areas exposed to moisture.
- Rated IK08 for impact resistance, useful in higher traffic commercial areas.
- Meets Part P and Part L requirements.
- Class II wiring, set up for parallel runs.
- Choose the driverless version for dimming control via DALI-2, 0-10V or push dim. Choose the driver included version for a simpler install with switchable wattage set at installation.
- Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions People Ask
What is UGR16 and why does it matter for this panel?
UGR, or Unified Glare Rating, measures how much a light source might dazzle someone looking near it. A UGR16 rating is very low, so the Domino CSP stays comfortable to work under even directly below a desk or screen.
Can I dim this panel?
Only the version with the driver left out can be dimmed. Fit your own compatible dimmable driver and control it via DALI-2, 0-10V or push dim. The version with the driver built in has switchable wattage instead, set once at installation rather than dimmed afterwards.
Does the wattage matter if I choose the driver included version?
Yes. You set it once during installation by selecting 22W, 24W, 25W or 27W, which changes output from 3550 up to 4350 lumens. It isn't adjustable after that.
Will this fit my existing ceiling grid?
It's built to the standard 600 x 600mm panel size and is only 18mm deep, so it fits a standard suspended ceiling grid without extra modification.
Is this suitable for a bathroom or kitchen?
No. It's IP40 rated, which means it's designed for dry indoor spaces like offices and retail rather than rooms with moisture or splashing.
