Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Sandstone - Low Voltage

A Sandstone Effect Garden Globe for Low Voltage Lighting

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in sandstone is a stone effect outdoor light that works by day as a garden ornament and by night as a glowing globe light. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, and runs on low voltage 12V. The globe is moulded polyethylene with a rough surface that weathers naturally. It suits path lighting, driveway lighting and warm alfresco evenings in the garden.

Sandstone Finish, 12V Version

This is the sandstone finish in the low voltage range, which also comes as mains, plug and play and solar versions. The surface is rough and textured like cut stone. You can choose a 28cm, 38cm or 50cm globe, and a cable length of none, 0.45m (standard) or 5m.

How It Works

This globe runs on 12V and needs a Stone Globe approved transformer, which is bought separately. A bulb is supplied: 2.8W G4 in the 28cm, 5W E27 in the 38cm and 7W E27 in the 50cm. A circular mounting base bracket of 12.5cm with a 25mm cable gland holds the globe in place, and earth connection parts are included. An optional spike is available. The globe is rated IP65 for outdoor use. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where It Works Best

The manufacturer suggests these globes for lighting driveways and paths, and for creating a warm ambiance on alfresco evenings. They also sit well along patio edges, steps and planted borders.
