Stone Globe Transformer for Plug & Play Stone Globes - 24W

A 24W Transformer for Plug and Play Garden Globes

This is the Stone Globe 24W transformer for the plug and play range. It turns your mains supply into a 12V DC output and can power up to 8 Stone Globe plug and play garden globe lights. It is designed for outdoor use and is rated IP44, so it suits plug and play garden lighting set up around a patio, path or border.

What You Get

The transformer is a compact black unit that comes with a 1.6 metre mains 230V cable and a standard UK 3 amp fused plug. The globe lights connect to the output side, so one transformer can run a whole group of globes.

How It Works

The transformer takes the 230V mains supply and gives a 12V DC rated output for the plug and play globes. It is only suitable for use with Stone Globe plug and play lights. You can put it on the ground, but avoid areas that are susceptible to flooding, or mount it on a wall. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this product.

Choosing the Right Size

Add up the watts of each globe light you plan to connect, and add an extra watt where a timer or sensor is used. Then choose a transformer with a wattage equal to or greater than that total. This 24W transformer is suitable for up to 8 globe lights.

Where It Works Best

It sits at the start of a plug and play run, close to an outdoor power source, with the globe lights connected along paths, driveways, borders and patios.
