Transformer for Plug & Play Stone Globes - 60W

A 60W Transformer for Plug and Play Stone Globe Lights

This 60W transformer powers Stone Globe plug and play garden lighting. It converts the 230V mains supply to 12V for a run of stone effect garden globe lights, and it is built for outdoor use with an IP44 rating. The store data lists a supported load of up to 48W, which suits a run of up to 16 globe lights.

Made for the Plug and Play System

This is the transformer for the plug and play range. It is the power source for the 12V globe lights that connect together with Stone Globe plug and play cable and weatherproof accessories, so you can build a lit run along a path, border or drive.

How It Works

The transformer comes with a 2 metre mains 230V cable and a standard UK plug with a 3 amp fuse. It plugs into a covered outdoor power socket, and the globe lights connect to its 12V output. The output is AC. It can sit on the ground, as long as the spot is not prone to flooding, or be fixed to a wall using the mounting lugs on the casing. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this product.

Where It Works Best

It suits any garden where a plug and play globe run starts near a sheltered outdoor socket: a patio, a shed wall, a garage wall or the edge of a lawn. Keep it clear of areas where water can collect.
